The UEFA Champions League Challenge returns for 2025, offering gamers worldwide a high-stakes, EA SPORTS FC 26 tournament with the opportunity to attend the UEFA Champions League Final in person!
This year, PlayStation Tournaments is giving you the chance to win a trip to the UEFA Champions League Final in Budapest, Hungary. Sign up and compete in daily EA SPORTS FC 26 tournaments for your chance to score a trip to the Final.
Schedule
The UEFA Champions League Challenge runs from October 2025 to May 2026 and is split into multiple stages which follow the same structure as the UEFA Champions League.
During the League Phase to Round of 16, you can be in the running for a chance to win tickets to the UEFA Champions League Final in Budapest. But don’t worry if you don’t make the final! You still have the chance to win FC Points at every stage of the tournament.
League Phase Split One
- Open Qualifiers: 20 – 26 October / 3 – 9 November / 24 – 30 November
- Closed Playoffs: 7 December

- Open Qualifiers: 8 – 14 December / 19 – 25 January / 26 January – 1 February

UEFA Champions League Challenge on PlayStation Tournaments offers an exciting opportunity for the winner of each stage (League Phase – Round of 16) to claim a ticket and travel package to the UEFA Champions League Final in Budapest. This is the chance to see one of the year’s biggest sporting events in person!
Ranking for the EA SPORTS FC 26 tournament will consist of a single-elimination bracket.
Each first-place winner of the Closed Playoffs will receive a Travel Package to the UEFA Champions League Final.

How to play on PS5
To sign up on PS5, navigate to the Game Hub for EA SPORTS FC 26 on your PS5 home screen and scroll down to the “Upcoming Tournaments” carousel. Select a tournament that fits your schedule, and select Register. A notification will appear when it is time to join your match. Results are automatically recorded, and winning matches will secure your place in the next round until you reach the final! Tournament details, including available prizes, will be listed on the tournament card!
