It’s time to celebrate! It’s been 15 years since PlayStation Plus burst onto the scene, offering gamers more choice and more ways to play with access to online multiplayer and an ever-growing catalog of hundreds of titles.

To mark this milestone in PlayStation gaming history, PlayStation Tournaments will be hosting the PlayStation Plus 15th Anniversary Cup from June 28 through July 31. This special edition tournament will invite players across all regions to compete in popular titles like TEKKEN 8, Madden 25, NBA 2K25, Guilty Gear™ -Strive-, UFC 5, FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, Mortal Kombat 1, EA FC 25, College Football 25 and the upcoming College Football 26.

As a thank you for being on this journey with us all these years, all players who enter and compete in the PlayStation Plus 15th Anniversary Cup will receive a special, limited-time commemorative avatar, in addition to standard prizing available on a per title basis.

The PlayStation Plus 15th Anniversary Cup will run on PlayStation Tournaments from June 28 until July 31. Games featured in this special edition Cup will rotate as the tournament progresses and vary depending on regional availability.

How to play on PS5

To sign up on PS5, navigate to the Game Hub on your PS5 home screen and scroll down to the “Upcoming Tournaments” carousel. Select a tournament that fits your schedule and select Register. A notification will appear when it is time to join your match. Results are automatically recorded and winning matches will secure your place in the next round until you reach the final. Tournament details, including available prizes, will be listed on the tournament card.
