What’s New in Apex Legends Season 15: Eclipse
New Legends: Catalyst
“Greetings from the dark side of the moon.”
Catalyst uses the power of witchcraft to exact her victory against foes. She comes from a faltering planet with a moon on the verge of capture by corporate elites. Leveraging the power of ferrofluid, she’s putting her skills to the test in the Games to help things back home. She has devastating abilities with the power to fortify teammates, cut off vision from the enemy, and damage them with her ferrofluid spikes.
Catalyst’s abilities include:
- Piercing Spikes (Tactical Ability) has Catalyst throwing ferrofluid on the ground, morphing into spikes when enemies get close. Impale and destroy enemies in a devastating trap.
- Barricade (Passive Ability) uses ferrofluid to reinforce doors and open spaces to protect teammates and stop enemies from advancing.
- Dark Veil (Ultimate Ability) raises an enormous wall of ferrofluid. Enemies will be slowed and partially blinded when they walk through it, leaving them open for the kill.
Introducing Broken Moon
Broken Moon has deep meaning to Catalyst and is a terraforming project available for play. Similar in size to World’s Edge, the map features different terrains ranging from gardens, a terraforming machine, a wharf, and more.
The map features zip lines to help players outrun the ring and get from A to B. Traverse POIs to get the most you can from the space and stay ahead of the enemy. Broken Moon includes fascinating POIs such as a giant terraformer, a stasis net array, an atmostation, and more.
