Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has only been out for a short time but players continue to make tier lists for every patch. These character rankings based on matchups, results, and options will constantly evolve as players find new tech and compete in tournaments.
Tier lists hardly changed since the last patch because fighters were hardly buffed or nerfed. Instead this update mainly fixed broken features and cleaned up mechanics. Here’s how two of the best NASB players ranked your favorite mascot characters in the game.
ThunderzReign Nick All-Star Brawl tier list
I decided to make this tierlist for the new patch. I'm not sure what the order is for characters, but I think the tiers are accurate. You could probably move some characters up or down? What do y'all think? pic.twitter.com/i3UNMZZoqo

FumbLynn on the NASB meta
What makes the best characters so good?
The S tiers of Thunderz and FumbLynn’s tier list feature four consistent characters: Leonardo, Aang, April O’Neil, and Lucy Loud. Most of the community unanimously agrees these fighters are the best in the game thanks to various strengths like combos or frame data.
Leonardo and Aang:
Both have amazing neutral airs that can pressure and combo. The DI change of the patch doesn’t really hurt them as they can easily chase DI into high damage and even a kill. At low percents they can even get tech chases or easy regrabs if the opponent successfully DIs away.
Lucy Loud:
Lucy is ridiculous in the right hands. She has some of the best movement in the game and can dish out some crazy damage. Throws lead to 50/50s thanks to coffin special and teleports. She can also easily follow DI mixups and consistently combo with vampire mode.
April O’Neil:
April has great normals and access to high damage. She also has some of the fastest normals in the game. With some of the best spacing attacks and the ability to boost attack power with her camera, April is a character you’ll want to either learn how to play or counter.
The Mid Tiers:
Characters like Reptar, Lincoln Loud, Sandy, and Powdered Toast man fall into mid-tier. Each one lacks top tier tools or matchups to cover their exploitable weaknesses. For example, their aerials aren’t as abusable, which means less combos.
Mid tiers can still beat top tier characters. Character-specific gimmicks like Reptar’s flame breath or Powdered Toast Man’s shine make these fighters worth the investment if you prefer their playstyles.
The Low Tiers:
Korra, Patrick, Helga, and Toph are undoubtedly the worst fighters in the game. Their biggest weakness is a ground focused game. Unfortunately, the meta requires strong aerial mobility and attacks. The frame data of better NASB characters simply make this tier very difficult to excel against decent players.
Other characters worth noting:
Ren and Stimpy:
Ren and Stimpy are a duo that have been in a weird place since release. Some consider them very strong due to their great normals, good kill power, heavy weight, and walling ability. Others think they’re almost top tier but stuck in high-mid-tier due to them not cracking that wall that other better characters have easily broken.
Michelangelo:
Michelangelo is another character that’s good at everything but a master at nothing. Despite nerfs, Mikey still has amazing normals, great edgeguards, and a pretty good projectile.
Spongebob:
Many players put Spongebob in S tier. He has a crazy combo game, good DI chase opportunities, a great neutral air, amazing setups, speed, and some of the best projectiles in the game. He has many ways to get you off stage into his double down air combo to kill quickly.
