Celebrate your love of the game with Days of Play this June. PlayStation’s annual gaming event returns for 2025 and to mark the occasion, we’re hosting the Days of Play Cups.

From June 3 - 11, players can sign up on PS5 and hit the virtual court for a week of thrilling tournaments and exclusive rewards, like up to 15,000 VC and a limited-edition Days of Play avatar. But that’s not all. To sweeten the deal even further, PlayStation Plus is adding NBA 2K25 to its roster just in time for the festivities. That’s right, you don’t have to own the game to reap the benefits of PlayStation Tournaments. Now you can enter NBA 2K25 matches with a PS Plus subscription.

If you’ve always wanted to join in on the NBA 2K25 competitive action, now’s your chance to finally get up from the sidelines and onto the court. When you subscribe to PS Plus, you can download NBA 2K25 from a constantly updated catalog of popular PlayStation titles and experience the excitement of online matches while earning some serious in-game rewards.

How to play on PS5

To sign up, launch NBA 2K25 and select “PlayStation® Tournaments” in the main menu. Select a tournament that fits your schedule and select Register. A notification will appear when it is time to join your match. Results are automatically recorded and winning matches will secure your place in the next round until you reach the final. Tournament details, including available prizes, will be listed on the tournament card. You can also register by visiting the NBA 2K25 Game Hub on your PS5 home screen and scrolling down to the “Upcoming Tournaments” carousel.
