Experience the Thrill of a New, Team-Based Competition!
In this unique, team-based competition, players at the event will join one of four teams - Triangle, Circle, Cross, or Square - and dive into four epic games: TEKKEN 8, EA Sports FC 25, Fortnite, and ASTRO BOT. Whether you’re a fighter, a football fan, or a battle royale enthusiast, there’s something for everyone!
You’ll be able to compete in exciting matches, mini-games, and other fun events to earn XP and power up your team. At the end of it all, the top two teams will face off in the Grand Final, where one team will be crowned the Champions of PlayStation Tournaments: XP!
Can’t make it to London? No worries! You can still catch all the high-energy action on Twitch and YouTube, where the best moments and exciting gameplay will be live-streamed by your favorite esports personalities.

To earn your spot at PlayStation Tournaments: XP, all you need to do is participate in the online qualifiers.
EA FC 25 and TEKKEN 8:
The Open Qualifiers for Tekken 8 and EA Sports FC 25 are now live on PlayStation Tournaments from December 5 to December 15. To sign up, just head to the Game Hub on your PS5 home screen, find the “Upcoming Tournaments” carousel, and select the XP Cups tournament you want to join.
Make sure to mark your calendars for December 22. Winning any TEKKEN 8 or EA Sports FC 25 bracket will earn you a spot in the Closed Online Final. Top finishers will then be invited to London to join a team and make memories that will last a lifetime. Get ready to bring your A-game!

Not only are you earning a coveted spot to the PlayStation Tournaments: XP event in London, you’ll also be playing for a share of the $125,000 prize pool. Players that make it to the Top 8 on the leaderboard will earn a spot to travel to London and compete in the PlayStation Tournaments: XP event! How to play on PS5
To sign up on PS5, navigate to the EA Sports FC 25 or TEKKEN 8 Game Hub on your PS5 home screen and scroll down to the “Upcoming Tournaments” carousel. Select a tournament that fits your schedule, and select Register. A notification will appear when it is time to join your match. Results are automatically recorded, and winning matches will secure your place in the next round until you reach the final! Tournament details, including available prizes, will be listed on the tournament card!
How to Enter Fortnite PlayStation Cup
The Fortnite PlayStation Cup is free to enter. Simply download Fortnite on PS5™, enable 2-Factor Authentication for your Epic Account, and reach level 50.
To play in the PlayStation Cups, you must be ranked at least Bronze 1 in your chosen game mode (Ranked Battle Royale). You can then join the tournament in-game by following these easy steps:
From the Play Tab:
- Change your mode to PlayStation Cup Mode by pressing "Square" to pull up the Discover Tab
- Scroll down to the Fortnite Competitive section
- Select PlayStation Cup
- Now you're ready to queue up in the PlayStation Cup and compete!
- Once you've played a match in the PlayStation Cup you can go to the Compete Tab for more information about the PlayStation Cup, to see your score, and keep tabs on other competitors once the battle has begun.
