The Mac-10 is the latest weapon added to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War alongside the Groza Assault Rifle. The SMG returns from prior Treyarch COD titles.
Players can unlock the weapon with the Battle Pass Season One when they reach tier level 15.
This weapon shoots and reloads faster than every other SMG. It has high mobility like most, but compared to the rest boasts better range. The damage and hip-fire accuracy are decent, although unremarkable, which is no big deal given the speed.
MAC-10 SMG Stats

The Mac-10’s base damage level is 27, 24, and 22, which means it takes six or seven shots to kill. Headshots only take two.
The SMG has a firing rate of 1111 RPMs, which is currently the fastest in the game. Even with a six shot kill range, the gun will kill an enemy in about 270 milliseconds, which is on the higher side.
The bullet velocity is conversely on the slower side, at 200 meters per second. For comparison, the MP5 is 250 m/s and the AK74u is 500.
As far as range is concerned, TheXclusiveAce created a graph illustrating the MAC-10’s effectiveness at close range:
Idle sway on this weapon is low, making it far less of an issue than the high rate of fire. However, even the vertical recoil isn’t much of a nuisance since the movement is straight up.
Reload time is actually the fastest in the SMG category, according to TheXclusiveAce, at 1.42 seconds. It can be reduced all the way to 0.87 seconds with the right attachment.

This loadout boosts the weapon's close-range capabilities, helps with recoil, and adds ammo for extended firing.
