What is the EA SPORTS FIFA 21™ Global Series?

The EA SPORTS FIFA 21 Global Series is where the world’s best players meet aspiring champions. Many enter the pitch, but only one will stand at the top of every Regional Playoff. This season features regional tournaments and domestic leagues. There’s something for fans, players and viewers, whether you want to break into esports, spectate matches on the edge of your seat, or both.

Expect franchise favorites to don jerseys when the first Online Qualifier begins in late November or December depending on your region. Don’t feel intimidated if you never played any pros. It doesn’t matter what your record is prior to Weekend League. All that matters is the score after it.

Excel in regional tournaments or domestic leagues to qualify for the Regional Playoffs at the end of the season. Play at your own pace and outperform others to become the FIFA 21 Global Series Regional Champion. Even top players started as beginners, so shoot straight for the title!

How to Qualify?

      1. Register for Your Region

The first step is registration. Register as soon as possible and agree to the Official FIFA 21 Global Series Rules prior to December 31st, 2020, then practice, practice, practice.

      2. Become FUT Champions Verified and Score Global Series Points

Now the fun begins. The second step is playing the game. Do your best to reach the Elite 1 rank in FUT champions to advance. Set aside at least one weekend to prove you’re Global Series material. FUT Champion verification requires 27 wins in a single Weekend League. Rack up enough and you’ll be able to join Online Regional Qualifiers for the rest of the season. The cutoff for verification is also December 31st, 2020.

Weekend League is one of two ways to earn Global Series Points. Perform better to net more and qualify for the playoffs. Players can gain up to 30 depending on their best Weekend League performance every month.

      3. Play in Online Regional Qualifiers for Even More Points

Step three is where the good FIFA 21 players are separated from the great ones. Challenge other FUT Champions Verified players in double-elimination tournaments to earn Global Series Points and cash prizes based on placement.

First place receives a maximum of 1,500 points if 769+ players qualify. Last place gets 30.

Each Online Regional Cup has a maximum of 1024 participants. Seeding will be based on Global Series Points with ties broken by cumulative Weekend League wins.

Qualifier Schedule

The first FIFA 21 Global Series Online Qualifier is scheduled for late November, but the competition might not start until December depending on your region. All Qualifiers are slated for the weekend. In some instances, players will be given a heads up prior to the tournament and if they make it far enough into the tournament will have an opportunity to appear on the broadcast of the final matches two weeks later.

      4. Represent a Football Club in a Domestic League for Another Lane to the Regional Playoffs

Dominate team-specific leagues to have more than just the support of your family on your back at the end of the season. Compete for a chance to represent your favorite team at the Regional Playoffs. More than thirty football leagues partnered with esports programs to bring their clubs to the virtual pitch.

PlayStation Features the Most Global Series Domestic League Seats

The greatest number of chances to qualify also means more seats in the Regional Playoffs. If players qualify for the finals via both Global Series Points and domestic leagues, then their seat will pass down to the next highest-ranked player on the regional rankings.

      5. Qualify for the Regional Playoffs

Dribble your way to the top of the Global Series Rankings in your region, stay ahead in Playstation country events, or triumph in a domestic league to move on to the final field.
