Celebrate the start of the new year with an exciting worldwide competition. The Win-A-Thon is back and now available on both PS4 and PS5 from December 1 to January 31. There are many chances to win big prizes including the upcoming DualSense Edge Controller, cash, and even PS5 consoles. Don’t miss your chance to join the fun and compete against fellow fans of your favorite titles. There’s something for everybody — all skill levels are welcome to participate!

Here’s how the Win-A-Thon works: Players have two months to play as many eligible tournaments as they can and rack up wins for a chance at prizes. If you’re playing in a Win-A-Thon labeled tournament, such as your favorite Open Series or Flash Rounds, each competition will count toward overall Win-A-Thon rankings at the end of January. Prizing and format will be different depending on whether you are playing on a PS4 or a PS5 console. Tournament details vary between the two, so read below to learn how the Win-A-Thon works across each console. Each eligible region will have its own leaderboards. Active PS Plus membership required. Tournament Format

PS5 tournaments eligible for the Win-A-Thon will place players in a bracket. Win your bracket in any Win-A-Thon eligible tournament to have that win counted toward your overall ranking on your regional leaderboard. When the leaderboard is tallied at the end of January, those with the most points will be rewarded with awesome prizes that include hardware like the DualSense Edge Wireless Controller or a Pulse 3D Headset.

Guilty Gear players will have a special opportunity to qualify for a Guilty Gear -Strive-: Win-A-Thon Final where they can win a chance to compete for additional cash prizing. The top 64 players on their regional leaderboard will receive an invitation to advance and take on fellow champions in a traditional bracket style tournament on PS5.

How to Enter

Players can sign up for tournaments in eligible titles from their PS5 console. Keep an eye out for the specially marked tournament cards below and participate to start racking up wins!

Match wins in eligible titles for the PS4 will be counted toward their respective genre leaderboards as listed above. Each match won brings you one step closer to the top! Wins are tallied for counting at the end of January to determine the highest-placed victors.

How to Enter

To register for eligible tournaments, head over to the Events tab on your PlayStation 4 console. Refer to the graphic below to determine which tournaments are counted toward the Win-A-Thon.
