Test your skills and reflexes in a series of monthly challenges to turn your Knitted Knight into Knitted Royalty.
Hear ye, Knitted Knights! The Trials are set and it’s time for you to prove that you have got the right stuffing to best the Sackboy: A Big Adventure PlayStation Tournaments on PlayStation 5 and be crowned as true royalty on Craftworld.
The Trials
There will be a series of five trial courses between June 2023 – February 2024 with each trial offering a different costume piece category as its prize: Head, Torso, Legs, Feet, Props.
Each monthly trial is a different obstacle course, and your goal is to complete that month’s course as quickly as possible, to set the fastest time that you can and climb your way up the monthly leaderboard.
You can attempt each trial as many times as you like (whilst it is live) and the better that your final placement is that month, compared to your fellow Knitted Knights, the more esteemed your rewards will be for that month’s challenge.
To begin a Speedrun Challenge whilst it is live, simply select the ac
tive challenge from the Sackboy Game Hub on your PlayStation 5 home screen. You can also locate the current active challenge in-game within the Knitted Knight Trials via the Pause Menu or World Map.
So, it’s up to you to prove if you are truly worthy to wear the full Royal Costume (with its very own Crown!).

The Prizes
Prize Tiers are split into five categories:
Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond
- Bronze: Consolation Costume Piece for All Participants
- Silver: Fool Costume Piece for Top 80%
- Gold: Guard Costume Piece for Top 60%
- Platinum: Advisor Costume Piece for Top 40%
- Diamond: Royalty Costume Piece for Top 20%
Depending on where you finish in each challenge at the end of the month, you will earn prizes from your final tier placement and from every tier below – So aim for the top in each trial and see if you can collect them all!
The Consolation Prizes
But even if you don’t always finish at the top of the leaderboards, we still have a series of consolation costume pieces to award you for each monthly trial that you participate in…
You may not be the fastest Knitted Knight around, but you can still take home a piece of this wonderful collection of kitchenware each month to let your friends know that you still participated in the latest challenge - And some would say that trying is more important than winning!
