While the FIFA 20 eWorld Cup was canceled due to COVID, some of the best players in the world still made an impact during the qualifiers.
Here’s the inside scoop on the top five finishers (out of 100) on PlayStation, including their career winnings and current team. They might even net a spot at the top of the rankings as we dribble ahead to the FIFA 21 Global Series.
Diego “Crazy” Campagnani
Campagnani was born in Italy in 1997 and has competed since 2013. He started playing FIFA when he was six and went on to rack up a few notable wins against players like Maestro, Harry Hesketh from Hashtag United, and Paulo Neto during the FUT 20 Champions Cup Stage 2, under team QLASH. The Italian finished first in the FGS to score $14,000 of his approximately $ 67,000-lifetime winnings.

Henrique "Zezinho" Lempke
The 21-year-old Brazilian joined DUX Gaming in October. Lempke previously played for Sport Lisboa e Benfica and amassed a large Twitch following of 26,000 fans thanks to his skills on the virtual pitch. Zezinho faced off against diegog1996 from DUX Gaming and nicolas99fc of FC Basel 1893 to win second place in the Futhead Tuesday Night Football 33 South American tournament.
He’s won roughly $13,700 in the Global Series qualifiers alone. In total, the Brazilian earned about $134,000 since picking up a controller to enter competitions in 2018.

Thomas "Tom" Leese
Leese hails from England and joined Hashtag United back in September 2019. The 22-year-old is a Twitch partner with over 75,000 followers and almost $99,000 in winnings. He previously played for FUTWIZ and earned about $13,300 for his third-place finish.
Tom placed second in the FIFA 20 Summer Cup Series Europe, defeating Ollelito from Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Corentin "Maestro" Thuillier
Thuillier is 20 years old and plays for Levante UD. The French pro won almost $200,000 playing professionally so far, despite being one of the youngest players in the community. His fourth-place finish in the FGS was worth about $11,500. Join the ranks of his 53,000 Twitch followers for a taste of the FIFA 21 meta.
He placed 5th in the FIFA eWorld Cup 2019 – Grand Final, losing to Mo Auba from Fokus Clan. Maestro was ranked sixth in the world when Levante UD signed him in 2019.

Umut "Umut" Gültekin
Gültekin’s older sibling introduced him to FIFA when he was about five or six, according to an interview. Now he’s 17 and plays for RBLZ Gaming. The Hamburgian pro won nearly $48,000 so far in his career with fifth place bagging him $11,500.
He placed 2nd in the FUT 20 Champions Cup Stage 3, beating pros like Dylo from Team Vitality and the aforementioned Tom.
