The PlayStation Tournaments Open Series is built on four core ideas: Play, Watch, Learn, and Connect. Play encourages players to join diverse communities and global events like Evo. Watch motivates players of all backgrounds to try just one more time. Learn encourages players to get better, not just at video games, but in reality. Connect drives inspiration through inclusion.

These inspirations are a result of the Competition Center’s dedication to sharing stories that define our community. Some feature triumphs, while others voice tips. Most importantly, they focus on motivation because everyone starts from the same title screen. It only takes one small message to make a big change, so we’re thrilled to continue sharing relatable stories as we launch Women of the FGC, a new interview series.

Women of the FGC

This celebration of women in the fighting game community features compelling interviews with notable female content creators, tournament organizers, coaches, and players. Every episode focuses on two women from the same scene. Watch your favorites open up, laugh, and geek out, then head to the Competition Center to learn more about how they became successful members of the FGC.

Episode one is all about the Women of Mortal Kombat 11. Join Losty and Infinitii to discover what keeps them going, lessons from overcoming challenges, and how passion for the community shaped their lives. We hope to empower women and inspire others to connect through our favorite universal pastime — video games.

We will also create player cards with fun facts, inspirations, quotes, and dream matchups. Look forward to new episodes and don’t forget to Play, Watch, and Learn on compete.playstation.com.

LOSTy's Tower

Sign up now and compete in the Mortal Kombat 11 PlayStation Tournaments: Losty’s Tower! Climb Losty's Tower to face the final boss – A pro MK11 player. This tournament embodies LOSTyGIRL's passion and positivity in the community. Join either open qualifier for a chance to enter the tower, earn cash prizes, and compete on PlayStation's Twitch channel. Both the European and North American streams will feature LOSTyGIRL, EGPWonderChef, Ketchup, and Mustard as commentators.
