Conquest is basically baseball Risk. Capture territories, strongholds, and fans in this turn-based strategy board game.

Ball clubs start scattered across a map. Individual hexagons are called territories, while strongholds are territories with team logos. Secure every stronghold to win. Lockdown every territory for 100% completion and greater rewards like Stubs, XP, and Program Stars. Use Stubs and Program Stars to recruit better players and improve your Diamond Dynasty team to conquer every map.

There are four phases per turn.

Attack Phase

Attack territories throughout the board with fans. The number of fans in a territory is measured in millions. This is essentially their power. Other teams will likely push for your stronghold early on, so take the territories around your stronghold to build a wall.

Steal Fans Phase

Everyone starts with six million fans in their stronghold. Press X to play against other teams on any difficulty. The higher the difficulty, the more fans you steal. However, you can skip this phase completely and still win the game if you aren’t going for extra missions and rewards.

Reinforce Phase

You gain an extra million reinforcement fans for every three territories you control. Immediately capture territories for more fans and faster wins. Pay attention to enemy offensives and pad out your defense with more reinforcements when necessary. Similarly solidify your frontline assaults.

Move Fans Phase

Take fans from one territory and move them to another. Mobilize to topple territorial tyrants and aggressive enemies.

Conquest Tips and Tactics to Beat Any Inning

Maintain a consistent strategy to conquer the baseball world. Attack new territories, and reinforce to expand your dominion. Move fans to your stronghold for defense when necessary and repeat.

Conflict is inevitable. Eventually, you will be forced to attack enemy territories. Select one of your territories with more fans than the neighboring enemies. Simulate or play games for supremacy.

Feel free to simulate because there are a lot of matches to play and you cannot simulate stronghold games. The chance of winning simulations increases based on the number of fans in your territory. Play early games to minimize the risk of losing fans or put a lot on the offensive.

Fans also impact game difficulty. The more fans in your territory relative to your opponent, the easier the match. Don’t let enemy teams split your stronghold from the rest of your territories.
