Call of Duty Challengers: Private Joe to Command Sergeant Pro

Published on: 01/24/2020
By: Tim Palmieri

Whether you're a Private or a Command Sergeant Major, Call of Duty Challengers gives everyone the chance to translate their in-game rank into reality.

Set your sights from the convenience of your couch online and take the fight to your foes at offline events against players from around the world for a prize pool of over $1 million.

Amateur players compete in online and LAN events to collect Challengers Points. Players are ranked individually, then combined with their team to determine final scores for seeding. Set baseline scores to surpass and improve season after season, or sharpen the scores of your weakest link to charge forward with comfort and confidence!

Call of Duty League Launch Weekend marks the first major path to pro event and features 192 teams competing in the Minneapolis Armory for 25,000 Challengers Points and their share of the $250,000 prize pool!

Call of Duty League Launch Weekend Challengers Prize Pool

  • 1st Place: $80,000
  • 2nd Place: $40,000
  • 3rd Place: $25,000
  • 4th Place: $20,000
  • 5th - 6th Place: $12,500
  • 7th - 8th Place: $7,500

Challengers LAN Events and Home Series

Challenger Series deployment in Minnesota is at the top of the flagpole in terms of Challengers Points, prizes, and participants. Up to 192 teams may enter Launch Weekend and Midseason Weekend events.

Home Series Weekend tournaments are worth 10,000 Challengers Points. There is a minimum $10,000 prize regardless of a mosh pit of 32 teams or a ground war of 128 in bracket. For example, only the first 32 amateur teams to register for the London Royal Ravens Open will qualify. All Challengers events use the official Call of Duty League ruleset.

Scan your heartbeat sensor to see when teams might host additional events throughout the season. More details and prizes to come!

Top Two Finish Rule

Trying to keep your boots on the ground? The top two finish rule ensures you don’t have to fly to every event. Only your top two results will register toward your Challengers Points total (maximum of 20,000 points).

This gives players the option to continuously compete at different events until they’re content with their placements without penalizing teams that travel less.

Teams with the most points via online play, League Weekend LAN events, and Home Series tournaments are eligible for travel coverage and higher seed placements. Only the best team will reach the hardpoint at the end of the Call of Duty Challengers Championship Weekend Finals when the results are revealed.
