Part 13: The Future of the Subliners

Tim

Let's talk lastly about the future. What's your main focus for the team as you work toward 2020?

Boble

Getting us competitive ready. We have to make sure that we're making the most of the time we have now to put ourselves in the best position possible to win each and every match.

It's really trying to help build our infrastructure, iron out what kind of content plans we have for the team, and trying to create a schedule where the players don't feel like they're doing something every single second in their lives. That's a big focus for 2020.

Tim

Is success more than just a trophy for the Subliners?

Boble

It's definitely not just a championship, but the championship is definitely up there. It's making sure that we build a culture that players all around the League want to be a part of. We want to be people's first choice. Everyone on the team has a lot of pride when they say they play for New York and they play for the Subliners. We need to make sure that we spread that mindset out across the entire ecosystem.

Tim

Looking further into the future, where do you see the Subliners in two years?

Boble

I hope that we have some titles to our name. I hope that in two years, we've been able to build a team with all the traits that I've been listing. I hope in two years Subliners becomes a household Call of Duty brand and that not just the Subliners, but the League in general is flourishing.

I think everybody has high hopes for the League. We just need to make sure that everybody is doing their part to make sure that this goes as far as we think it can go.

Tim

Great, thank you. That's all the questions I have. Is there anything you'd like to add or clarify?

Boble

I just want to hit on some points. If you want to buy some Subliner merch, you can go over to Subliners.gg.

If you want to buy Andbox merch you can go to the official Andbox website and do so there.

For any tri-state residents interested in coming to our home games, you can sign up on the Andbox website and we’ll get you the information once we have it. Tickets, venue, where it's going to be, and how it's going to be run once it's all built out.

Tim, thank you for your time.

Tim

Thank you! It was a pleasure. I look forward to seeing how the team does.

Boble

Me too. I'm excited for the year to come and it was fun talking to you as well.
